Tuition and Fees
The Arizona Board of Regents usually sets ASU's tuition rates each fall for the following academic year. A 2006 ABOR study showed that:
- ASU's resident undergraduate tuition ranks in the lower one-third compared with the average senior public university tuition among the other 49 states in the U.S.
- Nonresident undergraduate tuition falls below the average nonresident tuition costs of the other states.

ASU has been listed in "The Student Guide to America's 100 Best College Buys" which profiles schools that are the highest rated academically but have the lowest total cost for the college year.
